It's a bit of a relief that even a god could feel the same inner conflict, even if it sounds like Quetzalcoatl is much more assured of her choice. And why shouldn't she be? A self-assured nature is surely a hallmark of any divine being. ]

Right... If we hope to win for Meridian, then maybe there isn't a point to worrying about how the Zenites feel about it.

[ Logically, Gray understands. Emotionally, she can't help hesitating. Worrying is her own hallmark, always overthinking, always fretting. If she were given the task of firing the weapon in question, she isn't certain she could bring herself to do it, whatever the reason behind it.

In contrast to Quetzalcoatl's warmth, Gray is gloomy. ]


I have difficulty with that, I think... The idea of killing living people, even if they're supposed to be our enemy, still frightens me. Even worse if they can't properly defend themselves.
